  4. Wear or Place for Protection: Wear it at all times or hang it near the entrance of your home for protection.

Quranic Verses to Repel and Burn Jinn

1. Ayat al-Kursi (Quran 2:255)

"Allahu la ilaha illa huwa al-Hayyu al-Qayyum, la ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm, lahu ma fi as-samawati wa ma fi al-ard, man dha alladhi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi-idhnih, ya'lamu ma bayna aydihim wa ma khalfahum, wa la yuhituna bi-shay'in min 'ilmihi illa bi-ma sha'a, wasi'a kursiyyuhu as-samawati wa al-ard, wa la ya'uduhu hifzuhuma, wa huwa al-'Aliyyu al-'Azim."
Translation: "Allah! There is no god but He—the Living, the Eternal. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs all in the heavens and earth. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before and behind them. They encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and earth, and their preservation tires Him not. He is the Most High, the Magnificent."

2. Surah Al-Jinn (72:1-9)

"Qul oohiya ilayya annahu istama'a nafarum min al-jinni faqaloo inna sami'na Qur'anan 'ajaba..." (V1) "Wa anna lamassa as-sama'a fawajadnaha muli'at harasan shadeedan wa shuhuban, wa anna kunna naq'udu minha maqa'ida lis-sam'i, fa man yastami' al-ana yajid lahu shihaban rasadan." (V8-9)
Translation: "Say, [O Muhammad], 'It has been revealed to me that a group of jinn listened and said, 'We have heard an amazing Qur'an...'" (V1) "'And we [jinn] used to touch the heaven and found it filled with fierce guards and flaming fire. We used to sit there to eavesdrop, but whoever listens now will find a flaming fire lying in wait for him.'" (V8-9)

"Qul huwa Allahu ahad, Allahu as-samad, lam yalid wa lam yulad, wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad."
Translation: "Say, 'He is Allah, the One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born. Nor is there any equal to Him.'"

Surah Al-Falaq (113)

"Qul a'udhu bi rabbi al-falaq, min sharri ma khalaq, wa min sharri ghasiqin idha waqab, wa min sharri an-naffathati fi al-'uqad, wa min sharri hasidin idha hasad."
Translation: "Say, 'I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of what He created, and from the evil of darkness when it settles, and from the evil of those who blow on knots [sorcerers], and from the evil of an envier when he envies.'"

Surah An-Nas (114)

"Qul a'udhu bi rabbi an-nas, maliki an-nas, ilahi an-nas, min sharri al-waswasi al-khannas, alladhi yuwaswisu fi suduri an-nas, min al-jinnati wa an-nas."

Translation: "By those [angels] lined up in rows (1) Then those who drive [the clouds] forcefully (2) And those who recite the message (3) Indeed, your God is One (4) Lord of the heavens and earth and all between them, and Lord of the sunrises (5) We have adorned the nearest heaven with stars (6) And as protection against every rebellious devil (7) They [devils] cannot listen to the Highest Assembly, for they are pelted from every side (8) Repelled—and for them is a constant punishment (9) Except one who snatches [words] by theft, but they are pursued by a flaming fire (10)"

5. Surah Al-Mu'minoon (23:115-118)

(116) Whoever invokes another god besides Allah—for which they have no proof—their reckoning is with their Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will never succeed. (117) And say, 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the Merciful.' (118)"

Counter Ritual to Burn a Hostile Jinn

Warning: Only use this ritual in emergencies when a jinn you've summoned begins to attack you instead of the intended target.

Materials Needed:

  • A metal bowl (iron or copper)
  • Black salt (or regular salt mixed with ashes)
  • Dried rue (sabrr) or wormwood
  • A sharp knife or nail (preferably iron)
  • A white candle (for purification)
  • Ayat al-Kursi (Quran 2:255) written on paper (or played aloud)
  • Musk or frankincense

Step-by-Step Banishment Process

  1. Cut the Spiritual Link: Take the knife/nail and scratch a large X over where the original ritual was performed. Say: "I sever all ties, I break all chains. By iron and fire, I reclaim my domain."
  2. Burn the Jinn's Anchor: Place the dried rue/wormwood and black salt in the metal bowl. Light it on fire, then recite Ayat al-Kursi 3 times over the flames. If you have any remnants of the original ritual (thread, photo, container), burn them now.
  3. Purge with Smoke & Salt: Blow frankincense smoke around your body, especially over your head and shoulders. Throw a handful of salt behind you to disrupt the jinn's presence.
  4. Final Banishment Command: Stand in the center of the room and shout (if safe): "By the decree of Allah, I expel you, accursed one! By fire you came, by fire you leave! If you disobey, I will burn you in the name of the Most High!" Then, extinguish the candle by snuffing it (not blowing) to seal the banishment.

If the Jinn Persists (Extreme Measures)

  1. Iron & Running Water: Sleep with an iron knife under your pillow and wash in cold running water for 3 days.
  2. Ruqyah Recitation: Play Surah Al-Baqarah (2) loudly in your home for 3 nights.
  3. Honey & Milk Offering: If the jinn refuses to leave, place honey and milk at a crossroads at midnight and say: "Take this and go, or face destruction."
